On sing a song, what do you recognize your pitch on scales? Working on scales is an important part of learning how to control your vocal, developing your voice and keeping your voice in good shape.
"fo-Vocalise" can display your vocal pitch on the keyboard scale in real-time. It will assist you visually for training your a cappella vocals and practice of Passaggio. Please be exploited to improve the ability for your singing.
"fo-Vocalise" has two methods for sound analysis, and can be selected either SONAGRAM of the pitch estimation, or SPECTRUM of the frequency spectrum analysis. It can be selected the frequency view range of 5 octave or 2.5 octave.

How to use:
- Analysis Methods
[Sonagram]
The estimated pitch result is displayed in color on the keyboard, it scrolls the time axis (vertical upward). The color of the display dot indicates the reliability of estimated pitch that is lower in the order of Red, Green and Blue.
[Spectrum]
By frequency spectrum analysis, the input sound will be displayed in the bar graph that matches the strength of frequencies on each scale of the keyboard.
- Operation Mode
Sonagram has Real-time Mode and Recording Mode. It will switched by tapping Arrow button on the top-view.
[Live Mode]
It performs sound analysis by obtaining real-time sound from the built-in microphone, and displays Spectrum and Sonagram simultaneously. By swiping Sonagram display, you can view Spectrum display.
[Recording Mode]
It allows you to record sound from the built-in microphone and displays Sonagram while playing the recorded data offline. You can also be analyzed from any position of the recorded data.
- Scale
Frequency range of the display is selected.
- Play & Pause
It controls to display the measured images.
- Info [Live Mode]
It shows the product information and our support website link.
- Rec [Recording Mode]
It sets to prepare Recording, "start/stop" button will be appeared. If you tap it, Recording start. And tap again, it stops.
- Set [Recording Mode]
It sets the recorded data to analyze. By tapping "Play" button, it starts to display the analysis images.
- Reset [Recording Mode]
It resets the analysis images.
Note:
"fo-Vocalise" is intended primarily for a single vocal. Please note that the correct display can not be done in case of chorus, vocal with musical instruments, and the noisy environment. Recommended for use in a quiet room less ambient noise as much as possible. Please note this app does not support the audio input by an external connection, such as a digital audio interface.
The authorization for access to the built-in microphone will be confirmed by the iOS system at first boot. Please enable access to the microphone.
